The Lectric tale began in Lakeville, Minnesota, where lifelong friends Levi Conlow and Robby Deziel bonded over virtual video games in their youth. Levi, with a knack for life's overarching themes, pursued business entrepreneurship in Phoenix, Arizona, while detail-oriented Robby studied mechanical engineering in Minneapolis.
Reuniting after their studies, Levi's father, Brent, sought a reasonably priced electric bike. Recognizing Levi's entrepreneurial skills, Brent proposed creating an affordable, high-quality eBike. Levi and Robby, undeterred by initial challenges, set up shop in a small Phoenix garage. With Brent postponing retirement to fund the first Lectric eBike, the Lectric LX, its initial release faced challenges. Instead of giving up, Levi and Robby listened to customer feedback and designed the successful Lectric XP series, named as a nod to their video game-inspired friendship. |
